Camerata Singers is a 4-part mixed choir singing in and around Kettering, Northamptonshire. It has been active in Kettering for a number of years and is the only choir in the town that performs classical and church repertoire in a non-liturgical context.

Our three annual concerts draw on mainstream choral works in the autumn and the spring and we perform something lighter in the summer.  In recent years, we have sung works by CPE Bach, Charpentier, Handel, Haydn, Brahms, Schubert, Faure, Durufle, Elgar, Rutter and Part as well as a range of songs from madrigals and folk songs to James Bond movies.  Our concerts are generally held in local churches or village halls. To see more about music we have performed click on the Archive tab above to view past concert posters.

If you would like to join Camerata Singers, you are welcome to come to several rehearsals to see if this is the choir for you (See Membership fee below for further information).  We meet on Tuesdays in term time, currently 7.30–9.00pm at St.Andrew's Church, Lindsay Street, NN16 8RG.  We don’t hold auditions, but most of us read music at least a little.

Choir members are expected to attend rehearsals regularly and give notice when they will be absent.

Membership fee is just £40 a term.  The subscription helps pay for hire/purchase of music, soloists and players for our concerts and rehearsal and concert venues.  New/prospective members may attend three rehearsals, to find out whether they wish to join the choir, before the subscription is payable.

Occasionally we have additional informal commitments as a choir and members are given the option whether to attend.  If you would like to sing with Camerata Singers, please ring Ann Burridge, choir chairman, 01536 513955, or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
